May 3, 2015 3:57 AM in response to brenden dvby Andreas456,Hi Brenden,
I tried this, thakns . My Provider actually changes the IP adresses of the DNS servers on a regular basis. I removed all entries and initially this seemed to work better. However, whenever I have'nt used the macbook for a couple of hours, the same issue occurs. Any ideas ?

May 3, 2015 1:39 PM in response to Andreas456by Eric Root,Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test. Then try Safari/History/Show History and delete all history items. Quit/reopen Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History and Web Site Data. The down side is it clears all cookies.Doing this may cause some sites to no longer recognize your computer as one that has visited the web site.

May 4, 2015 9:13 AM in response to Eric Rootby Andreas456,Hello Eric,
I emptied the Safari cache, however the problem persists. Initially it gets a bit better, but as soon as the macbook rests for some time it's like having to wake it up again.

May 6, 2015 11:20 AM in response to Andreas456by Andreas456,Hello,
I'm still experiencing this problem. I tried to solve it via System Settings - Network - Assistant - Diagnosis
The Settings under
Ethernet - Network Settings - ISP are all green immediately , however "Internet and Server " remain red for a relatively long time. It seems that the macbook is having trouble accessing the Internet , for whatever reason ....

May 9, 2015 9:25 AM in response to Andreas456by Pops G,Afternoon. I was having the same problem. I reinstall 10.10.3 and noticed that you also need to UPDATE SEPARATELY your JAVA portion. If an app or webpage you want to use asks you to install Java software, you can download the current version of Java for OS X directly from Oracle's website. Downloaded it and smooth sailing since then. Might help. CHekc you java to ensure it up to date
