Just checked. Watched half a dozen random trailers in Safari under Yosemite v10.10.3 and download Spectre without problem. What workflow are you using?
Using Google Chrome (never had an issue) quicktime 10.4, yosemite 10.10.3. its sending me to this page http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. I have the latest version downloaded.

With the change to HTML-5, many third-party browsers no longer support the use of the QT Plug-in.plugin. Try using safari instead.
