Bootcamp Non System Disk

Windows 7

MBP Late 2013 Yosemite 10.10.3 (14D136)

I am getting a Non system disk error when trying to boot from the USB disk that Bootcamp has created. I am using USB 2.0 device.

Any ideas how to get this resolved? Can I install W7 on Yosemite? After all the errors/issues I have gone through, I am thinking there might be some compatibility issues.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), BCA 5.1.4

Yes, I did try using both. But I mostly use the left one near the power port.

I reformatted the flash drive and am trying to create a boot disk again, so I am not sure if you will get the data you needed. In any case, here it is:

Disk: /dev/disk2 geometry: 7651/255/63 [122915328 sectors]

Signature: 0xAA55

Starting Ending

#: id cyl hd sec - cyl hd sec [ start - size]

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: 0B 1023 254 63 - 1023 254 63 [ 2 - 122915326] Win95 FAT-32

This is not correct. There should be an asterisk in front of the 0x0B to make it bootable for Windows Installer to start.

Can you run the following commands and re-test? Please ignore the i386 MBR message. Please ensure that disk2 corresponds to your USB, because reboot can change order of disks.

sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk2

p

setpid 1

0B

flag 1

p

w

y

Test.
