A stripped screw can ruin your day. Removing it will be tedious and may require a screw extractor designed for Lilliputians. Finding one of them will be hard enough. The larger challenge will be avoiding making it worse.


Bring your MBA to Apple first. If they offer to fix it, thank them profusely and offer pay whatever they want. It will be worth it.


Personally wouldn't touch a stripped pentalobe screw for less than the cost of a brand new MBA. I'm serious.
