Q: iDVD keeps crashing!

I have the latest version of iDvd (7.1.2) running on Yosemite. I have tried all the solutions offered on other similar forums, i.e. removing the preference files and cache files and I've also tried running it under a different user but it still crashes. Sometimes it crashes with a prompt from 'Atos requires a password' which seems to be a different issue altogether but in the most part it crashes as soon as I start adding media to the template. Any ideas people??

iMac (24-inch Early 2009), Yosemite 10.10.2

    How much RAM do you have installed?

    Any 3rd party RAM?  From where?

    How much free space on your boot drive?

    Have you tried reinstalling the iDVD app?

    Have you run any "cleaning" or "optimizing" apps?

     

    Post the first 50 lines of the crash report and the lines for the thread that crashed if it's not in the first 50 lines.
