Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

Doesn't that have problems with over-heating when you're exercising (and therefore probably producing a huge amount of heat through your wrist)? I did wonder about that myself because there have always been warnings about leaving iPhone's and iPad's in the sun, or anywhere else that's overly warm.
And as far as the heart rate monitor is concerned, well I'm just going to have to see how that goes, on me, because I've been reading about the issues the Watch is having with some wrist tattoos - heart rate monitor, Watch locking persistently, etc - and both my wrists have (small tattoos) on them
I didn't know about this till after I'd ordered my Watch, but I spoke to Apple about it and they assured me that if I had problems of that sort then I would have no trouble returning it within the 14 day "cooling off" period. Fingers, toes ...and absolutely everything else!... crossed that I won't be one of the poor folks who can't get the most from Apple Watches due to my "ink"!!

Mine is due for delivery between 12/05-26/05 and had ordered on the 10th email confirmation timed at 8:03 GMT, just spoke to apple advisor in Belfast whos just told me I should expect movement anytime now up to the 12th May

May 6, 2015 3:45 PMby Prowlus,I've actually had an allergic reaction to my white sport band ( i have excema) thats why I returned the strap recently and Apple are sending me over a Milanese loop as a replacement although i'm using a loaner Milanese from a friend who managed to secure some spare watch bands before they all sold out .
BTW has anyone ordered this yet for their watches?

I actually ordered two of the space grey 42 mm sports. One at 8.03 and one at 8.10 on the 10th.
The first one went to preparing for shipment tonight. No email. I just now checked again and it is showing shipped with tomorrow
as the delivery date!! There is even a UPS tracking number.
Second one still showing as processing, but I hope it will follow on soon. I will likely sell it.
BTW, I ordered a tempered glass screen protector and one of those Spigen cases today.
Will let you know if either or both arrive tomorrow.

Having looked at the Amazon reviews, they tend to suggest it makes the watch look cheap. As far as I'm concerned it's not the metal parts I really want to protect, the important bit is the display which I do worry about scratching. I'd be interested to know how people get on with the various screen protectors, because my experience of those on my phone are that I have never found one that goes on smoothly without spoiling the appearance and performance.
The charging stand does look interesting. My understanding is that if the charger is not flat on a level surface it may not work properly, and I have found it can be tricky to get it to sit flat as it comes out of the box. If this dock helps to get the watch sitting properly it would be a good thing, but I am not sure how important it is for the charger to be on a flat surface. Again I would be interested to know how people get on with using it.
On another subject the instruction manual refers to a "magnetic charging case". Does anyone know what this is? I have not been able to find any other reference to it. Also people have been talking about a "sapphire screen" but again, it does not appear on the website. Are these things only available in the USA?
