Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

HI all,

As most of the responses on the main "Shipping" thread appear to be from folks in the UK I thought it might be useful to have a separate one for those of us in the UK.   I only ordered my SS 42mm Blue Milanese Loop on Launch Day (24th) so I'm still Processing, and not really expecting a delivery for some time yet (my estimate is "June"), but I wondered how deliveries/shipping was going for others over here...  Anyone from the UK actually received theirs yeT for example?

    Mine came with the smaller piece attached to the watch and the bigger one in the box.  Even the small one is on the big side for me.  I've put in a feedback to Apple asking for a smaller narrower strap suitable for we smaller ladies!

    ACtually Im thinking that if youre one of those Elite Apple customers who can afford the Edition then maybe you get some kind of special deal where you just return the gold case do that it can have future versions of the Watch fitted into it to replace the existing obsolete one?

    Hi, I ordered a 38mm sport watch with white band for my wife and a 42mm watch with brown leather magnetic band. Both ordered 0830 on the 10th of April. I didn't seem to get a confirmation e-mail straight away.

     

    Didn't think much of it until I got home from work and still hadn't received an e-mail. I contacted Apple, they say my order didn't go through due to a technical error, so they cancelled my original order and I had to re-order them. I spent an hour on the phone re-ordering my watches, once the call was complete I received TWO confirmation e-mails.

     

    The first was the confirmation for my original order stating my HAD been successful, the second was for the new order. To say I was frustrated is an understatement. The original order stated an estimated delivery date of April, the new one stated a delivery date of June.

     

    I contacted Apple and explained that the original order had apparently been successful, they apologised and couldn't understand what had happened but due to the number of orders they couldn't honour my original delivery dates!

     

    My wife's watch arrived on the 24th, I'm completely jealous as I'm still waiting for mine (27/05 - 09/06).

    Hi Dean!

    Aargh, horrible, omg you must be totally frustrated!!

     

    Your 42mm is the same strap as mine only I ordered the leather loop in bright blue.   sorry I can't ease your pain but I haven found anyone anywhere (I.e. Either here or the U.S.) who have anything other than "Processing" for the leather loop straps yet.   My order's despatch date is a bit vague, it just says "June".

     

    You're in the UK I take it?   Whereabouts?

    It is very frustrating, at least they've given me a delivery window! I'm in Buckingham, Bucks.

    Seems like a bunch of people on the main Apple Watch Shipping Notices thread just got their orders for 42mm space grey black sports band just got changed to despatching, so it looks like there must be a new batch on the way out.   Anyone in the UK had a change of status yet?

    on 14th April I ordered  the 42mm stainless steel case with Milanese strap, all I've had back from Apple is to be dispatched June.

    still not heard anything on my 42mm SB SS link watch still processing for delivery 12/05-26/05 hoping something changes today/tomorrow there is a forum thread over at http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=21254910&posted=1#post21254910 dedicated to orders for SB SS links

    I know it's probably nothing, but the Order Status section on both the Apple website and App has gone down. *fingers crossed* this means some news is coming!

    I just died as well, and yep, Order Status page still down.   Probably just maintenance tho, as mentioned.   Still, I'll still be back to checking my own status many times a day once it's back up.

    last Sunday it was the same! I hoped too but nothing changed after the store was up again.

    Hey Andi, good to hear it's not just us in the UK whom Apple have taken a disike to!

     

    Maybe you could keep us updated on your Watch's progress, I'm sure everyone hear will help you celebrate if and when a special delivery arrives, lol

    SO that's been a good number of hours without access to the Apple Store now and it's still u available now, does anyone know if that's normal for a Sunday?
