Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

I know Apple can't do anything about the issues with production etc, it's more the fact they haven't faced the pre-ordering issue. I mean how many of us have preordered, thinking we would get them on release day (or at least one would think so considering that's what preordering means) and yet we're seeing hundreds of cases where people already have them before us, whether from stores, ebay or Apple.

I've just read that certain stores are offering a variety of watches around the world - primarily retail trendsetters.

It just annoys me that a product so much in-demand is having its PR ruined by the fact that people havent got them.

Personally, I would have preferred them to skip the preordering stage (seeing as it's worthless) and just open the store online and you place an order. You get a date and that's that. I would have been happy to wait this long if I did.

Has anyone who got the original delivery window of 24/5 to 8/5 still not got their watch? Just curious to see how far Apple are behind, if at all.

Quite a few, including me. There doesn't seem to be a formula to explain what's being delivered when.

Yes, sorry should have probably worded it better! I meant to ask if Apple had given you any sort of explanation as to why your order is late.

Apple have just told me this:

Sorry, yes, I meant 24th April to 8th May! I'm in the 12th -26th May batch.

Same here, I was hoping it'd ship earlier but it seems no one has had any movement on link bracelets!

Trying to read through the thread but getting bored!

I ordered a 42 Stanless with Black Sport strap on 10th April. My estimated date was 12 May, 2015 - 26 May, 2015

Has anyone who had that date range estimate received anything yet or even had their status changed to "Preparing for Dispatch"

Also, I ordered my wife a Silver 38mm Sport with white band last Monday (4th May). I was given a delivery estimate of 2-3 weeks (20/5 - 27/5).

Had an email from apple on the 6th that it was expected to ship in 1-2 weeks.

Then on the 7th I got a dispatch notification and the watch pitched the next day. So 4 days from order!!!

Some orders are going then, but I must say, after ordering mine at 8:05am on the 10th I'm a tad jealous!

No worries. I kept waiting for the site to reload at 8:01. Had a shower and ordered mine at 8:25am. The shower cost me!

I am off to play golf on Thursday and I am desperate to use the Golfshot GPS app. I've been using it on my iPhone for years.

If mine doesn't arrive, the large strap is going on her watch and I'm nicking hers for the weekend.
