Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

Looks like I ordered on the 10th April minutes after the site going live. 42mm Space Grey Sport with black band. Got a delivery date 14th to 28th May been processing forever, got a notification it had shipped 13th (went straight to shipped from processing). Meant to receive it today by UK Mail never heard of this company so googled their reviews and it filled me with dread. don't know how long Apple have been using them got my iPhone 6 plus ok but can't remember if it was them.

Annoyingly, even though my card was charged and my status changed to Processing for Dispatch I got no change in status to Shipped and no email so looks like it won't be coming today

Not sure how some change so quick and others take a while. Hope it arrives tomorrow for the weekend!

Hope it ships in time for the weekend for you. I have had every iPhone from the 3g to the 6+ some I have pre-ordered and got on launch day, and some I waited in line at the Apple store both have been good experiences in there own way.

This Watch launch has been a disaster IMO, glad my watch has now shipped but the way Apple have handled this has took a bit of the shine of what in the past has been a great experience.

My black sport 42mm with black strap (standard!) was ordered at 8:03 on the 10th April.

I was given the 12 May to 26 May estimate.

Changed to Preparing for Dispatch and card charged yesterday.

Still showing the same today.

Online via the website.

This preparing for shipment bit seems slow, I was optimistically expecting it to change to shipped overnight

I totally agree Scott.....

My mates watch went from preparing to dispatched within an hour or so!!  But this was back in April :-(  When I told him about the change yesterday, he optimistically said i'd have it by Friday!!

That's what I'm clinging on to Legs616, a Friday delivery, my last wave of optimism!

So just spoke to Apple online. The instant chat is so handy!!

They basically said that "Preparing for dispatch" "Preparing for Shipment" are both exactly the same thing. They change the wording around so it doesn't get boring. Anyway he said the reason why it's probably stuck on that is that there just wasn't anymore space for it with the courier. It does happen when so much stock is going out the door. There is a limit to what the trucks can take.

He said he is confident that any stuck on these statuses will go out today for delivery tomorrow. Said there wasn't any problem and that in essence, it's all packaged up and waiting by the door to be picked up. Looking positive for tomorrow then

Gotta admit, I do really like Apple but the way the Apple Watch has been handled in terms of shipping hasn't been great. I'm by no means annoyed that I have had to wait. Apple told me delivery between 12th May and 26th. I'd only be annoyed after that point. The bit that slightly annoys me is that they didn't anticipate demand well and that those that ordered a few minutes after 8am in the UK have had to wait ages with no launch day...

That's good to hear, now lets hope they use a decent courier company like DPD where it can be tracked live. I only work 5 min away from home so can nip back anytime, however, having the whole day off to wait in might be a tad trickier! I'd hate to miss the delivery after all this time

Cruiser,  I ordered the green strap to go with my space grey watch and either apple failed or the courier failed to deliver on time....

Still stuck on Preparing for Dispatch - it's so infuriating.

I'm secretly hoping that Apple managed to chuck mine on the truck and have just happened to forget to update my status.
