Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

HI all,

As most of the responses on the main "Shipping" thread appear to be from folks in the UK I thought it might be useful to have a separate one for those of us in the UK.   I only ordered my SS 42mm Blue Milanese Loop on Launch Day (24th) so I'm still Processing, and not really expecting a delivery for some time yet (my estimate is "June"), but I wondered how deliveries/shipping was going for others over here...  Anyone from the UK actually received theirs yeT for example?

    It gets lost in these long threads, but Apple lost around 50% of production when they rejected all the output from one of their two suppliers because the haptic mechanism failed to meet quality standards when they went into volume production - which was only a few days before deliveries started.

    Never heard of Syncreon post and I run a business that uses a lot of couriers... Where do you live?

    Looks like your strap has been posted which will be a couple of days in transit, won't be next day for that.

    Yeah I did read about that. I'd rather they identify an issue, slow production to sort it out fully rather than me have to send it back and get a refurb unit.

    I have just received mine 42mm Space Grey black band (Sports) here in Scotland.

    UK Mail delivered must admit I had my doubts after googling their reviews, but it is here and it is a thing of beauty I watched the           unboxing video's on you tube they don't do it justice even the packaging is done so well.

     

    Hope you Guys are lucky enough to get yours before the weekend

    Oh good stuff Freddieboy, where in Scotland are you?   I'm in Dumfries!   Had to travel up to Glasgow just to see the flippin' things as that's my nearest Apple Store

    Sounds like its everything you hoped for ...oh my god ecery time someone else gets theirs it ratchets my impatience up another notch!

    Out of interest Freddieboy217, did you track your watch at all through UK Mail? Was tracking effective?

    I am in Linwood 11 miles outside Glasgow and to scottgough there tracking is not great they don't have tracking in their vans so once you know it is on the van out for delivery it's a waiting game but I knew from the delivery it was on the van at six thirty this morning and it came about 11am

    Mine arrived at 11:27 today after leaving the depot at 6:50 this morning.

     

    I unfortunately had to leave the office at 10:30 so I missed it by an hour. I'm now on a plane that has been delayed 1 hour so I could have waited at the office and the left but who knew!

     

    I have to wait until Monday now for the unboxing.

     

    To say I'm frustrated is an under statement (Not Apples fault) but knowing that my watch is sitting on my desk and won't be touched for four days.........                 

     

    slightky softened by that that fact that I commandeered my wifes 38mm sport for my trip. She's not happy though!

    Quick question.....

     

    How were you all notified about your watch being dispatched? Email, Apple Store App notification or text?

     

    Mine is still at Preparing for dispatch :-(
