Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

HI all,

As most of the responses on the main "Shipping" thread appear to be from folks in the UK I thought it might be useful to have a separate one for those of us in the UK.   I only ordered my SS 42mm Blue Milanese Loop on Launch Day (24th) so I'm still Processing, and not really expecting a delivery for some time yet (my estimate is "June"), but I wondered how deliveries/shipping was going for others over here...  Anyone from the UK actually received theirs yeT for example?

    When did your order status change from 'Processing items' to 'Preparing for shipment/dispatch'?

    Thanks Dean, I ordered the 42mm  space grey Sport at 10.02 am, but they are the most popular/cheapest so will probably a little while longer yet!

    AAargau!   what happens? In the other thread there are a lot of US customers ordered way later than me getting an window for shipping.

    I Ordered 12.4. and NOTHING happens to my status. Still processing (that is not the problem). But still "June" as shipping date.

    I am so bad in waiting!

    Greeting from the Czech Republic!!

     

    I have been following this thread and it's just now that I mustered all the courage to send a note because I can't bear the waiting time anymore. I have placed an order for a 42mm Sports with white band on the 4th of May in the UK site since the Apple watch is still not available here in the Czech Republic and God knows when it'll be available here hence my decision. However, I had to cancel that order because the delivery timescale is in July which is like eons of waiting time so I placed another one for a 38mm SS with white band and I'm expecting a delivery sometime next week. It'll be received by a friend in the UK and will then be sent here via expedite delivery using Royal Mail. I want to ask anyone here who has ordered and already received the watch and tell me how much it weighed in grams with the box as I would like to know the charge of the delivery here in the Czech Republic. I will be grateful for your answers.Thank you.

    NIce to hear that our European cousins are checking in on our thread, we've actually had a couple of people from Germany and one from Sweden dropping in as well.   Sorry I can't answer your question as my watch hasn't arrived yet, but Kamblad (our Swedish poster) might be able to answer your question about shipping costs as his/her watch is currently on its way to Sweden.

    For a watch that is quite small and light the package is surprisingly big and heavy, though as usual with Apple, it comes beautifully packed in a lovely box containing the watch in a plastic case, the charger and a spare 1/2 strap, which may be the bigger size or the smaller one, depending on what is fitted on the watch.  I also have the 38mm sport with white strap, it does look lovely.  I weighed the box without the watch and charger and it is over 600grams, so quite heavy!

    Both of my Black Leather Loop watches just dispatched. Estimated delivery is also the 18th for me!

    IM in the leather loop club as well, but you ordered yours earlier, the 10th was it?   No idea what's happened with the blue leather loops but I still haven't heard of anyone anywhere who has yet received one.

    For those who have got their Apple Watch this is quite cool from MacForum.

     

    Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com

    (Grab your Serial Number)

     

    Then go to: http://www.chipmunk.nl/cgi-fast/applemodel.cgi

    Paste in your Serial and you can tell what it's manufacture date was.

     

    Mine was week 18 which means it was actually made at some point between 27th April 2015 to 3rd May 2015. Cool...

     

    Yeah, cool - mine was week 16 (13 April) 38mm aluminium Sport with white strap, delivered April 24th.
