Q: Shipping Info for the UK?

HI all,

As most of the responses on the main "Shipping" thread appear to be from folks in the UK I thought it might be useful to have a separate one for those of us in the UK.   I only ordered my SS 42mm Blue Milanese Loop on Launch Day (24th) so I'm still Processing, and not really expecting a delivery for some time yet (my estimate is "June"), but I wondered how deliveries/shipping was going for others over here...  Anyone from the UK actually received theirs yeT for example?

    Well. just look on the bright side, by the time you get yours, we'll probably have found a lot of the problems and maybe Apple will have rushed out an update to fix them!

     

    At the moment I'm still trying to figure out how it all works, and it's hard to know what is a bug and what is just understanding how it works and how to set it all up properly.  You'll probably be able to get using it a lot quicker with the knowledge gained from these forums!

    I ordered on April 10th at 8.10am and got mine on April

    24th. I am in Hertfordshire and I ordered 38mm SS with Milanese Loop.  I think the 38mm was not as popular as the 42mm and so I got mine on the launch day. I am female and so did not want a 42mm - in fact the 38mm is a bit big for my liking!

    TThanks Rowan, you might be the first person I know of who actually got their Watch on Launch Day.   I'm female too, but I went for the bigger one because my eyesight is so flippin' rubbish!!    Lol, thought I might acquire many many wrinkles from spending half my day squinting at my wrist if I ordered the small one!!

    Well I'm also female, and I live in deepest darkest Devon.  I didn't order mine till the 11th, after I'd seen it in the Exeter store.  It was forecast to be shipped in June, but it turned up on launch day, pretty cool!  It's a 38mm Sport with white strap.  I have a tiny wrist so it's definitely on the big side, I have a job getting the strap tight enough.  I'm putting in a feedback request to have a smaller, slimmer strap for us ladies!

     

    Maybe Apple think only the men will want them?

    I, too, have poor eyesight and I fully expected to have to peer at the Watch. It is very easy to read....the display is very sharp.

    I am sure you will love it. I keep finding new things that you can do. Today I discovered that I can control music on my iMac using the Watch

    Yes, I agree. I have the Milanese Loop which is fully adjustable. But I have to pull it right around to get it tight enough.  I would also like a smaller watch...perhaps 36mm.

    I'm sure there are still plenty more exciting discoveries ahead, Rowan, I'm still stuck on memories of early Star Trek Eps.   You know, raising my wrist and in a severe voice demanding, "Kirk to Enterprise, come in Enterprise!..."

     

    Course I'm still waiting for flying cars, really disappointed that they haven't turned up yet.   Maybe that's Apple's NEXT big launch??

    Still not movement on mine.

     

    Hoping it comes before Friday. I've got a pretty big interview for a new job, and I'm hoping my fancy new Apple Watch will impress

     

    Tried getting an update out of Apple chat - no help at all.
