How can I convert drm protected files to mp3?

I bought a bunch of music back in the drm days and I want to use it with my DJ software ( tractor dj ).

It won't read protected files. How do I convert them to Mp3?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

Make sure that your computer is authorized to the iTunes account from which the files were originally purchased. Burn them to audio CD. You can use the audio CD in the usual fashion, if you know what I mean.

Alternatively, you can subscribe to iTunes Match, which under certain conditions will allow you to download non-DRM copies. Go to this document

and read the section on "Can I upgrade my previously purchased music to iTunes Plus?"
