Having filtered a sheet how do I just save the filtered columns?

Having filtered a sheet Iwant to save the filtered rows and columns on another sheet. I have tried 'Select All' , 'Copy' and then 'Paste on a new sheet but all of the rows and columns are copied. How do I just copy the filtered rows/columns?

On my machine the behavior is the same in Numbers 3. No need to paste into a text editor.

Some unfiltered data:

Apply the filter:

User uploaded file

Select cells that are visible after applying the filter:

User uploaded file

Click a destination cell once and paste:

Hello

I'd try -

a) copy the filtered range in Numbers to the clipboard;

b) paste it into a new document of text editor;

c) copy the text in text editor to the clibpoard;

d) paste it into the target range in Numbers.

This procedure is supposed to remove any clipboard data except for TSV text representation, which I'd think consists of only the visible data. I may be wrong, for I don't use Numbers v3.

By the way, Numbers v2 does not exhibit the said problem and can copy and paste only the visible data.
