Photoshop CS2 + Tiger

I've searched and read a few other threads on this but I want to confirm.

I have a 3-year-old G4 minitower. I'm running 10.4.8.
I need to buy Photoshop, (CS2).

Will this run without problems on Tiger, I have a Mac chip, not the Intel.

PowerPC G4, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Hello,

I just bought a MacBook Pro. I used to have a mac back in the day when the G3 (grey version) came out. But switched to PC because I could'nt afford a mac anymore. Now I want to switch back to Apple and did this by first bying a MacBook. I lend some software from a mac friend just to see how these new Intel Mac's work. Because I started a company on my own I wanted to test it first before bying either mac or pc software.
But indeed... I found some difficutlies working with some software. Photoshop CS2 seems to run OK but not perfectly. But the most problems I had was with Autodesk Maya 8. It runs very slow.

And I'm a bit dissepointed in returning to the Mac. Because it now seems that I have to wait for all the software companies to bring out a new version... which will take months.. by the time they come out there will probably be a new MacBook pro on the way... So now I'm stuck with a machine from which I can't benefit the most... and by the time I can there will be a slightly better machine at the same price. How come the costumer is allways the one who get's stuck with problems like these?
