Apple review Questions?

Good Morning!

We are aiming to develop iOS App for one of our client “Telecom Operator”. I am outlining the requirements about the Subscription process that will be used in App. Please confirm if this is not violating any of Apple Review Guidelines.

• The VAS services are accessible through SMS, IVR and Smart Apps.
• A Service subscribed through any component (SMS, IVR Smart App) is also accessible from all three components with same credentials.
• The subscription charging is done at Operator end using their Charging Gateways:
  • Once a user subscribes a service through SMS, the user is charged instantly from the credit balance on SIM. We only get confirmation from Operator APIs that the user has been charged successfully.
  • The subscriber then can use IVR service or Smart Apps, like iOS or Android Apps through a simple login process.

Question:

• We are aiming to keep the App FREE on Apple Store.
• If a user subscribe the service through App choosing any package that we will agree with Operator. The user in this case will be charged at backend by the operator and balance is deducted from the SIM.
• Does this violate the Apple guidelines?
• Does Apple concern about the process of charging which might cause App rejection?
