Endnote referencing not working in Pages 5.5.3

Hi, just bought a 2015 Macbook Pro 13" 2.7Ghz, 125Gb, 8Gb Ram.

Have OS X 10.10.3 (14D136) installed, running Pages 5.5.3 (2152).

I require referencing in Pages - downloaded and installed "Pages EndNote Plug-in v2.0". The install seems to run and install correctly - at least that is the message I get.

When I open Pages and try to insert a citation, the endnote citation within the Insert and Edit menu is grayed out and not selectable. Any ideas of what I can do to correct this?

Is that the latest version of the Plug-in?

What does the EndNote website recommend for Pages v5.5.3?

The specs for the EndNote v2.0 plug-in are for Pages v5.0, and this plug-in dates back to 2013, and expects EndNote X6 or later. I scoured the EndNote site, and found no plug-in. What I read alludes to Thomson Reuters expecting Apple to play the role of integrator and keep this EndNote plug-in current.

I suspect changes since Pages v5.0 have clobbered this EndNote v2.0 plug-in, and like Pages itself — is no longer an Apple priority.

There were problems with Apple's version of the plug-in from when Pages 5 first came out, so the question is, did Apple fix it and if so with what version and for what version of Pages 5?

DO you actually have End Note? That is required for the plugin to do anything.

Thanks Guys - did not know that I had to install Endnote as well - installed the trial version and its working now. Will get the full version.
