Q: Photos share not working

I've activated iCloud photo sharing in Photos, selected photos, clicked the little up-arrow in a box adn chosen "add to shared album," entered an email address and clicked "create," but: 1) when I click to see shared albums, nothing appears except the "start sharing" window and 2) the recipient didn't get the email.

I eventually retreated to iPhoto, which seems to have worked, but I was curious to see if others had the same problem. Thanks
