Q: Can I switch my PowerBook G4 RAM into my Power Mac G5?
I have both a Power Mac G5 and a PowerBook G4. The G5 only has 1GB of RAM. Can I take the RAM out of my G4 and put it into my G5? Also, the G4 only has Tiger while the G5 has Leopard. Can I get the newer OS onto the PowerBook? (Power Mac has a back drive.)
PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), Single Core, 1.8 GHz

No, you can't do that. G5 RAM and Powerbook G4 one are different.
PowerMac G5 requires DDR PC-3200 400MHz DIMM.
on the other hand Powerbook G4 use PC133(PC100) SO-DIMM.
