Jul 8, 2015 12:03 AM in response to chadsteiner13by EdAdelaide,I also get the syncing problem and the Airplane Mode solution seems like a good temporary fix. There seems to be a bug in the Activity app, either on the Watch or the Phone, which affects the bluetooth connection and thus the syncing. I also find that the syncing becomes inactive when I recharge my devices. It means I have to reboot everytime I charge my Watch or my Phone. Not good. I hope Apple can send out a software fix soon.

Jul 8, 2015 5:25 PM in response to chadsteiner13by SirSatish, did not work for me. the only thing that works for sure is to reset/ restart the phone by pressing start and home button until the apple logo comes on and letting the phone restart.

Aug 3, 2015 11:02 AM in response to iris12by rwbenson,I have the same problem. I had the activity set on 4 hrs and I changed it to "none". I tried rebooting both the iphone and the watch. I tried turning on "Airplane" mode on the watch. All of these did not work.
I then tried turning on "Airplane" mode on the iPhone and got an automatic sync when I turned it off.
I hope this helps and I hope that Apple fixes the bug soon.
Cheers,

Aug 10, 2015 3:07 AM in response to iris12by Priyank_ano,Not sure is there has been a solution for this issue people seem to have, I just picked up my watch on saturday and I found that the best way to refresh the activity app on the iPhone is to use Handoff. What I tend to do it open the app on my watch, properly or through glances doesn't matter, this should trigger the phone to prompt handoff to the Activity app. This will force the update within the app on the phone. If it doesn't work, kill the app on the phone, lock your phone and try it again and it should work. Hopefully that helped! Works for me!

Mar 7, 2016 10:19 AM in response to samuelfrommilwaukeeby Mike Vallario,I just got off the phone with Apple Care and my Activity App is now syncing with my Watch. The fix was to do an unencrypted backup of my iPhone 6s to my computer using iTunes. Once this was done I unpaired the Watch from the iPhone and did a restore to the iPhone using the same backup I just did. Once the phone is restored I paired the Watch with the iPhone and selected Restore from Backup instead of Set Up as a New Watch. Once this was done I went to the Activity App on the Watch and set it up with the information it asked for. As soon as this was done the Watch Activity App started to sent information the the iPhone immediately. I did lose all historical information stored on the iPhone Activity App but at least it is now working again.

Apr 5, 2016 7:06 PM in response to iris12by mrsjpvan2,I was having the same issue. I called Apple support and was told to sync with the phone, you have to be within 15 feet of the phone and the watch will automatically sync to the watch.

Jun 20, 2016 11:14 PM in response to iris12by Daltonpro,I chatted with apple support and the dude told me to unpair and repair my watch so i did and i restored it with my last back up but that didn't work and the it still wasn't syncing but when i checked the activity app on my watch all my saved data was gone. I had just completed my first day with my watch and went around the rings 3+ times and got a new achievement. All my hard work gone thanks to my man Des in tech support.
