usb superdrive specifications - power requirement

I have just purchased a new Mac Pro. The number of USB ports is a bit disappointing so I need a USB 3.0 hub but one that has enough power to run an Apple superdrive.

I cannot find the specifications for the superdrive on the Apple website. Does anyone have a link to these specs or know the requirement to power such a device.

Can anyone recommend a good USB 3.0 hub as well as a good CF card reader.
