Why can't I crop movie in iMovie?

Hey There Pippi10,

I understand you want to crop a video clip, but are not seeing the option to do that. From the image above, it looks like you created a project, but you didn't double click to open the project. With the project open, you would be able to drag the selected clip above into the timeline and crop it.

I don't see the 51project timeline in your screenshot. You can't crop a clip in an event, only when it is in a project timeline. Double click on the 51project thumbnail and the timeline should open.
