cannot use Canadian map in china
How can I use the Map of Canada in China on my iPad or iPhone?
iPad, iOS 4.3.2
What have you tried? How does it fail? What app are you using?
You could try google maps for ios.

Google Maps of course is much better than the apple maps, however, all my addresses etc, are tied to apple maps and I cannot view the Canadian street details from here in China. The same is true for trying to view China addresses from Canada if I remember correctly.
on my iPhone 4 with 7.1.2. These cities appeared when I typed in the city in the search bar:
montreal
hong kong
beijing
When I got to hong kong, I reduced the display size and was able to scroll up to Beijing
I started with my home address. reduced the size to the minimum. fingered over to Beijing. Expanded until I got Beijing street names.
All in Apple Maps.

When one is in China, it is easy to get the street maps of Chinese cities however, when I was in Canada last year, I could not find the streets in China but could find them in Canada. I don't know why Apple has done this. It renders their maps useless if trying to plan any kind of trip. By the way, we can access the USA street maps from China.
