Recovering Files from Emptied Trash in Time Machine

I accidentally deleted all of my music when I emptied my trash (because it contained the original ACC files). I've tried using Time Machine, but it doesn't seem to have a place to go to recover those files. I also tried a few apps that claimed they could do exactly this, but they only came up with what is currently in the trash (after it had been emptied). Is there a hidden file/feature in Time Machine where I can go to get these back?

MacBook Air, iOS 7.1.2

"Enter Time Machine" and restore the music from a backup of your Music folder - not the Trash.
