When did the Macbook Pro 13' (Mid-2014) come out?

In June 2014 (last year) I bought a Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch, but it says Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch (Late 2013). I'm so confused because I bought it in June 2014. And when I bought it they said it's the newest one. Now in 2015 the newest Macbook came out, and I feel like mine is outdated even though it's still fairly new. 😕😟 Please help, I'm a bit upset.
