Changing the order of the channel strips in the mixer

How can I change the order of the channel strips in the mixer in Logic Pro X? I just upgraded from Logic Platinum 5.5 (for PC), where you can drag the strips to move them. Doesn't seem to work in Pro X.

Thanks for an answer.

Make sure you set the Mixer View Button to "Tracks"

Changing the order in the tracks area doesn't affect the order of the channel strips.

Yes, it does. The mixer follows track order. This cannot be turned off or changed unfortunately.

It (being able to order the mixer independently) must be one of the most requested but not (yet) implemented features of Logic Pro 10.1.1. 😟
