There is no application set to open the URL?

So I'm trying to download the free trial of final cut pro but whenever I click 'Download' this error message comes up!

I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong? Can someone give me any ideas?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

DDoes your computer and OS meant the minimum requirements for the application. The link you posted takes me to a .dmg file, which looks correct.

This seems totally unrelated to FCP X.

Try this: control-click the link in your message above and choose "Download Linked File". What happens?
