Received refund for an app I wasn’t happy with a few weeks ago but I can still use it…how, why?

I got a refund for an app I wasn’t happy with a few weeks ago. However, the app is still on and active on my computer. Why can I still use it even though I got a refund for it?

Because it'll remain after being refunded. This is why Apple very rarely gives refunds on iTunes Store content.
