May 2, 2015 7:39 AM in response to arianazeby ChrisJ4203,Are you concerned with a backup, or more concerned with the 3500 photos? If all you are trying to really do is save the photos, then import them to the computer. Once you connect the iPhone to the computer, depending on the computer OS, you should see a prompt to import the photos to the computer. That will put them there for safe keeping. See this support document for the import. Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
The free space error has to do with space on the computer for the backup. I cannot find an entry for the pairing record. Are you sure that is the exact error? Are you seeing this error on the computer or the phone?

May 2, 2015 8:00 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by arianaze,Hello,
Thank you for answering so soon.
I am concerned with getting all the information, photos, contacts, everything. I want to put them onto the computer, so i can give the old phone to my daughter. I want to import/backup them to the computer so i can delete everything off my old phone. Every time i plug the phone into one of the computers, the computers say things that allow them to not allow me to back it up onto iTunes. Thank you!!

May 2, 2015 8:03 AM in response to arianazeby ChrisJ4203,Try downloading and installing the latest version of iTunes. From there, then you should be able to run the backup. You can also try to backup to iCloud as well. Either is an option, but again, importing the photos to the computer will ensure their safety. About backups in iCloud and iTunes - Apple Support

May 2, 2015 8:11 AM in response to arianazeby ChrisJ4203,What computer OS are you using? You can open the version of iTunes you have and find out what version it is by going to Help>About iTunes. If on a Windows computer, you can also go into Help and click on Check for Updates to see about an update. Install the update as prompted.

May 2, 2015 8:18 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by arianaze,I have the newest Yosemite. I opened my app store and saw that i need to update iTunes to 12.1.2! Will that do anything?

May 2, 2015 8:21 AM in response to arianazeby ChrisJ4203,That can help, however it also provides me with additional information. Since you are using iTunes on a Mac, I cannot really help you any further with errors, since I do not use a Mac. Someone else may be able to assist you with questions, but I'm a Windows user. The update should help, especially if there is something going on with your iTunes. I suggest you update and then attempt your backup. Post any errors that occur after that, and someone should be able to help you.

May 2, 2015 10:27 AM in response to fjwhistonby arianaze,Hi, Thank you! I did what the article said and it worked. It is able to connect to my iTunes library. It said that it could not be synced because there is not enough free space available. It says that i am over it by a 200 or so MB. Any ideas or suggestions of what i could do? Thanks again!
