MacBook Pro 15.4" with Retina Display Part Number

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to buy my first MacBook, and I'm looking forward to buy a 15" with maxed out spec.

What is the differences between part number: "Z0RD00009" or "Z0RD00071" or "MGXG2LL/A" ?

I know that "Z0RD00009" is the machine I want, but there are other part number, that has the same maxed out spec as the ""Z0RD00009", so I'm a little confused by all the different part number.

All three labels show the same specs, it is not possible to compare further since those model numbers are not Apple numbers. Z is often used as the serial number of a replacement logic board from Apple. If these are labels created by a reseller, not Apple, then no further comparison can be made.

they all say the same specs so it is really your choice of which to buy.

It's very confusing, see link below to the machine on Adorama. Notice how they even have "MGXC2LLA" in the url, but on the page, the MFR number is "Z0RD00009 Z"

Also does anyone know if there is a different in the hard drive for this laptop? I've seen "1TB PCIe-based flash storage" and "1TB SSD", either way, it's supposed to be the "1TB PCIe-based flash storage" correct?

Yes, either designation is the same, a PCIe-based SSD. Things can get confusing with Adorama and some others when they start changing part numbers - and there was a period that these organizations were selling grey-market photo gear and you had to be very cautious about what you bought. At least with Apple all equipmeant comes with a one-year warranty so you will be protected by Apple where ever you buy the MBPr.
