Xserve with cluster node and Final cut?

Xserve with cluster node and Final cut?

Newbie here...Will final cut work any faster on an Xserve with cluster node than it would on a run of the mill mac pro? dont know if this is the type of application that would take advantage of the distributed processing power. Thanks!

For a single system, the MacPro will be faster than an XServe Cluster Node.

No. The Mac Pro will run faster.

It does not take advantage of the distributed processing power.

Plus FCP and Motion require great big honking video RAM cards. I doubt you can fit what you want to use into an Xserver. There's just not enough room. It would also get too hot in there. Best to keep to Mac Pros for workstations. There easier to add ports too as well.
