Error: iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server

Hi

i am getting this error trying to log in to my icloud account. I need some important information and i am getting this error for the last 3hrs.

Funny thing is, my friend can log in to his account on my macbook, but only my account isnt working.

why is it like this? is there a solution? i need it really urgent
