lost space

hello members,

about an hour and a half ago i tried to install windows with bootcamp everything went well except for the windows installation i tried to install it on partition bootcamp (yes i formatted so it became a ntfs partition) but than it said it can't make a extra partition so i thought i could delete it and make a new partition but i still have the the same problem so i decided to abort the installation so i let it restart for the first 10 second it has a black screen but after that you get the apple logo and start up normally but now i lost 40gb because of this and i can't add this to Macintosh HD.
