Rectangle Issues

In Motion 5, how come whenever I make a rectangle, it appears as green borders, and not as a white filled rectangle, like usual?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), I have Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5

Make sure the HUD is showing by clicking on the left most button on the right side of the tool bar just beside the camera button or under window menu select show HUD. After you select the rectangle button the HUD will appear and you can choose the fill and outline color. That will be the default colors until you change them.
