Can I replace PC3 1600 memory with PC3L 1600 memory? MacBook Pro mid 2012, i7 2.3 15". I know PC3 memory runs on 1.5 volts, PC3L runs on 1.35 volts.
Are they compatible with my Mac?

Macs are notoriously sensitive to their ram modules. Low voltage modules may work, but you are far better off sticking with the proper spec modules.

According to http://www.everymac.com PC3 1600 DDR3L, not sure where the PC3L is coming from...check with OWC and Crucial to be sure the specs are correct.
I have Crucial 1.35v RAM in both of my late 2011 MBPs with no detectable operating problems since installation. It should not be an issue. If you have any doubt, contact Crucial directly for confirmation.
