I am trying to run bootcamp on my Mac 10.10.3. Right when I attempt to install Windows Pro 8 a notification says to please format the USB drive as single FAT partition. If it matters, I'm using an external hard drive. How do change the format

1.Go in to disk utility
2.Click on your usb drive
3.Press erase
4.Select what kind of format you want
or in terminal
1.command: diskutil list
the external drive will be your disk.It has in front of it something like this dev/disk2 this will need to enterned in the next command
2.diskutil partitiondisk /dev/disk2 1 mbr fat32 BB 7G
Format the USB drive as single FAT partition (OS X Yosemite)???
