how do i know my macbook in normal mode or recovery mode

i started my macbook pro in recovery mode (cmd R) now after 2-3 days,i am not sure now my mac is still running in recovery mode or normal mode,after shutdown.now starting screen show apple logo also,and my mac is very slow.

1. if my mac is still running in recovery mode than how i will switch to normal mode.

2 if mac is in normal mode than any option how to get back it speed any cleaning option.

Recovery mode is just utilities. You have Disk Utility, ability to download OSX and a few other utilities. You can't use the Mac normally at all in Recovery mode.


For slow neness:

- Better describe the slowness. Spinning beac balls?

- Run this and post the results here
