get herky/jerky mirrowing on tv from iMac both audio and video
When trying to mirrow my iMac sporting event to my Sony tv via Apple, I get a herky/jerky picture/sound on the tv. Any help?

That will be due to the network
If on wifi try Ethernet
Make le sure there is no other activity occuring (ie other streaming, network backups etc)
To see a current status of the network get a report from istumbler or similar. Look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks
