May 3, 2015 8:23 AM in response to bearwoccby iris12,It's a very slight vibration. Do you have the haptic setting all the way up under sounds and haptic on the watch app on your phone. You can also try turning prominent taptic on

May 3, 2015 12:29 PM in response to bearwoccby patrickh40,There's another thread on this subject that helped me. Assuming your iPhone and Watch notifications are all on...
Reset the iPhone and Watch. Other users have unpaired and repaired the Watch.
While I didn't have to unpair the watch, resetting both devices solved my problem (no notifications at all on the watch).
To override the iPhone settings as a troubleshooting step, I used custom settings in the Watch App to ensure the sound, vibration, taptic all hit my watch.
I also set the repeat to 3 times...alert me three times if I don't acknowledge the "alert". I doubt I'll keep this at 3x notifications, but just experimenting to see if this is truly fixed.
Hope this helps....

Jun 15, 2015 4:01 AM in response to bearwoccby Dhdhdjeidifirjri,Hey Guys, Anyone not getting notifications should try to switch off wrist detection in the general settings tab on the apple watch app on the iPhone. I have not been getting notifications of any sort until I switched that feature off, I am now getting all my notifications. I tried everything all sorts of resets and this is what fixed it for me.
If this fix does work for you then I believe your infra red sensor is not working properly.

Jun 22, 2015 4:33 AM in response to bearwoccby eponymous,★HelpfulI've had this happen a couple of times now. The watch just stops giving any sort of notification - vibration or sound. What's more, it doesn't vibrate when you force-touch it either.
The fix (in my case) was really easy: Switch the watch off and back on again.
To do so:
- Press and hold the side button (under the digital crown) until you see the three options (power off, power reserve and lock).
- Slide 'power off' to switch off the watch.
- Wait until it turns off, then press and hold the side button again.
When it re-starts, you can test whether vibration is working again by force-touching the watch face.
Hope that helps.

Jul 9, 2015 6:24 PM in response to eponymousby Gporto,I could be wrong, but I think this bug is related to Do Not Disturb. I have placed my phone in Do Not Disturb and the Watch mirrors that setting. When I take the phone out of Do Not Disturb, the watch does not follow suit. I can turn it back off on the watch manually, but the vibrate seems to get hosed. Anyway, turning off the watch and turning it back on fixes it for me.

May 12, 2016 11:04 PM in response to bearwoccby bikerblue,I not that techno and I know this may sound stupid I had this problem and read all the posts which was good, however I ended up live chat with Apple help who were great. I did all the things that previous posts ad suggested first including reinstalling iwatch. It turned out that I hadnt realised that phone has to be blank screen. Not open on the home screen for the watch to vibrate. If the phone is open on the home screen messages go directly to the phone and not on the watch so it doesn't vibrate. I did say I wasn't that techno! Just thought I would mention it.
