My wife's iPhone 5c won't slide to unlock
II've tried holding both buttons on phone ! Still will not slide to use phone

The normal troubleshooting steps are to Reset then Restore. Try restoring your iPhone while it is connected to your computer running iTunes. You can recover all data back restoring from a recent backup.
