Battery replacement options - new acid?

My battery has gone off the deep end after about a year (729 mAh, 482 cycles) and I need to fix it.

I believe I read on these boards (but can't for the life me find it now) that there are three options for getting a new battery: buy a new one from Apple, buy a refurbished one or get your current battery "refreshed" by sending it off to a company that adds new acid (or something like that).

Does anyone know the company that does this refresh thing? And has anyone done this with their battery? Allegedly, you end up paying less (~$50) and your battery life is longer than a new Apple battery.

Thanks for help!

Another option is to buy a non-Apple battery like http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/BAP15AL5000/ .
