iphone 5s bluetooth not pairing audio player and handsfree phone together

My iphone 5s wont pair with my cars audio player and handsfree phone simultaneously. It will only pair as one or the other. My iphone 4s paired as both and switched between the two as necessary. I have tried changing phone name and deleted the 4s from car bluetooth as well. Also I cant pair at all with my Jam box. The 4s would have a bluetooth audio selection screen to toggle between the phone speaker, car audio or the jam box. The 5s does not. Any help would be appreciated.
