Even if the email is no longer working, you should be able to reset the password so you can authorize those old tracks to play and burn. Go to this page:

May 3, 2015 5:12 PMby jackiefromholywell,I tried that but it wants to send an email to the address I can't access! It also asked for my DOB which it then said was incorrect - hardly think I would have got that wrong!!
Just wish there was a way to contact Apple without the jumping through hoops which is required to get anywhere
