DVD reader doesn't want to close

On my macBook Pro 2012 less than 6 months old, the app DVD reader doesn't want to close even though i force the closure of the app. I have tried everything but it still doesn't want to and i cannot switch off my laptop.

And No wsince i have plugged my iPod to that same laptop, iTunes starts music without me doing anything and doesn't want to end that program either.

Can somebody help me?
