    Hey Vebo23,

This article describes how to delete an application from an iPad -

Delete music, movies, podcasts, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch - Apple Support

Go to the section title Delete an app.

Remove an app using the steps below:

    1. Tap and hold on the app until it jiggles.
    2. Tap the X in the upper-left corner to delete.
You might be asked to confirm that you want to delete the app. If you see a pop-up that says, "Deleting [app name] will also delete all of its data," tap Delete.

Once deleted you can download the application again. See this article for how -

Download past purchases from iTunes in the Cloud - Apple Support

Go to the section titled Redownload an app.

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. Tap App Store.
    2. On an iPhone or iPod touch: Tap Updates, then tap Purchased.
      On an iPad: Tap Purchased.
    3. Scroll to find the item that you want to download.
    4. Tap the Download   icon. After the app downloads, you can open it from your Home screen.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Happy computing,

    Hi Brett,

I have tried this but the app won't go away. When I try to reload it, it seems to load 100% but the icon of the app stops when it is ⅔ installed. I also tried to delete Numbers via iTunes, but that doesn't work either.

Can you help me with this please?

    cheers

    Paul

Try a hard reset by holding the power button and the home button in at the same time, the iPad will switch off and show a apple logo. Wait till it starts up again and see if you can access the app.

If not, please tell me how many times the app "hops" or "jumps". This will show what type of error the app is getting.

    Good luck

    Hi there

I did as you suggested, but to no avail. The icon doesn't bounce either. It has two stages. One is waiting and the other is loading (forever)IMG_0004.jpg

    Hi sorry for the delay.

Was there a different Apple ID signed in ?

If there was sign out with your apple id and sign in with the old one. Let the download complete and then delete the application. Sign in with your own apple ID again then redownload the application again.

Please follow these steps otherwise you will sit with a update issue ever time a new version is released.

This would be the only reason i know that can cause an issue like this.

    Good luck
