HELP Apps Breaking

Hi. So, my brother has an iPad Mini with iOS 8.1. He likes games like "Cookie Clicker" and such, so he got 2 games: Kitty Clicker and AdVenture Capitalist. Now, he got Kitty Clicker first. All of a sudden while he was playing though, he tried to enter the shop. And the game shut down. The only way he could fix this was deleting the app and reinstalling it! Now, the same thing happened in AdVenture Capitalist when he got it, although he couldn't even start it! It asked for a Crash Report, but when you clicked ANY choice, it didn't send a report! Please, if you know how to fix this issue, please tell me as I'm afraid this i going to happen to all his games!
