I downloaded a youtube using an online service and corrupted my Safari browser. Below is a screen shot of message I received. I suspect that this could be a problem site to contact. Is there anyway to delete Safari and reload?

Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If that doesn't work, temporarily disconnect the computer from the Internet.
If that message continues to appear, click here and run Adware Medic. You may need to use a different web browser.

If you continue to get those phishing spam attacks after downloading from that site, it is either adding adware to its downloads or has been corrupted toad them. either way the best thing to do is stop using that web site ever again in the future.
I won't use the web site again. My problem is that I cannot use Safari at all.
Niel that worked! Is there any way to know if I will have security issues on Safari going forward?

Not for certain. In general, they can be avoided by not visiting hacked or questionable websites, and not downloading Mac OS X software from sources other than the developer sites and the Mac App Store.
