I reinstalled my system software and now iphoto is missing. Where is it? mac mini ios 10.6.8.
Reinstall iPhoto like you originally installed it. iPhoto is not part of the system, so reinstalling the system will not reinstall iPhoto.
Try to find the original installer disks. If iPhoto came preinstalled on the Mac it will be on the second installer disk with the bundled software. And if you installed it from an iLife installer disk, try to find that disk.
Or restore iPhoto from the backup you made, before you reinstalled you system.
Thanks very much for your help. It was on my external back up drive.
You may also need to restore any files in the folder
/Library/Application Support/iPhoto/
from you backup to reinstall the Themes, not only the iPhoto application.
