Which model should I use for Multimedia purposes? (Multimedia major in need of help deciding which model is the best for me.)

If you are going to be using intensive video editing, photography and graphics applications in your multimedia courses in college, I would suggest the MacBook Pro Retina.

The issue with any of the MacBooks out there is they are lacking on the Graphics card. If you must go MacBook, you'll want the best and most expensive one they offer, the 15" MacBook Pro WITH the Nvidia GT 750M GPU. While not a "great" graphics card for today's standards, it's MUCH better than the Intel GPUs in the others.

Agreeing with John0001's recommendation. The high end 15" Retina MacBook Pro is the only model offering the option of a discrete GPU.

Note, you've posted your question in the 12" Retina MacBook 2015 area. That particular model would not be a good match for a multimedia major, unless it was your 2nd computer.
