Trying to update my iphone and ipad mini. When the data extraction is complete I get an error message :cannot write to specified disk as it is full". What disk does thie refer to? Is it my laptop or iphone that is creating the problem? I have 1/2 gb of memory available on the iphone. Computer files (xp system) have been compressed. Would like to get software updates however I cannot get passed this "disk full" problem.

I have restarted the laptop and removed any items in the usb ports. Still no soap, Any advice appreciated.
